Basic principles, methods and process

Basic principles

  • My thinking and approach are based on the methods, theories, and guiding principles I have learned and learned to appreciate during my career.
  • These basic assumptions, such as a solution-oriented approach, trauma pedagogy or dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT-A) influence me strongly.
  • Over the last few years, the use of school dogs and animal-supported work with children and young people has positively impressed me.
  • In general, I base my work around a systematic approach and method, with the goal of helping people to help themselves.
  • I also always monitor research in children and young adult pedagogy, and the interactions between research and practice (from bed to bench and back to bed).
  • Pedagogical advising and support, as I understand them, are based around services in the here and now.
  • I have been able to understand the importance of economic circumstances more deeply, especially in social questions, during my training in social work management.

Methods

  • Dialog serves as the central method in my approach. Depending on the person receiving consulting, I use different question and dialog techniques I have learned and learned to appreciate in my professional practice. However, I do not follow any set framework, but rather adapt myself to the ideas, requests and capabilities of my partner.
  • Feeling understood and having a relationship built on appreciation is the basis for successful consulting.
  • I offer my full expertise, experience, and my full self to the consulting relationship.
